One of Kenya’s biggest mixed-use developments has entered the construction phase. Tatu City has appointed China Road and Bridge Corporation to deliver the landmark Jabali Towers project.
Tatu City has appointed China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) as the main contractor for Jabali Towers, officially launching construction of the 88,000-square-metre mixed-use development within its Special Economic Zone outside Nairobi. The project will feature two residential towers, a 150-room hotel, Grade A office space, and 35 retail and dining outlets, making it one of the largest vertical developments in the new city.
Tower A is already 75% sold, with apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units targeting both homeowners and investors. The development is expected to create more than 2,000 jobs during construction and operation while leveraging Tatu City’s existing infrastructure, including roads, utilities, and fibre connectivity.
Jabali Towers forms part of Tatu City’s wider expansion, which includes new schools, commercial facilities, and lifestyle amenities. Once completed, the project is expected to reinforce the city’s position as one of Africa’s leading master-planned urban developments and a major destination for residential and commercial investment.
