D Developments, a venture between Egyptian investors and Saudi Arabia's Al-Hokail Group, has launched with an initial EGP 15 billion investment portfolio and plans for four projects in Obour City.
D Developments has launched operations in Egypt through a partnership between Egyptian investors and Saudi Arabia's Al-Hokail Group, with an initial targeted investment portfolio of EGP 15 billion and plans to develop four projects in Obour City.
The company said its shareholder structure brings together real estate development and engineering consultancy expertise alongside investment capability, intended to support expansion and a diversified project pipeline.
Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Hokail, a Saudi investor representing the group, said the decision to invest in Egypt followed an assessment of the country's economic fundamentals, market size and opportunities across sectors. He said Obour City was selected as the starting point because of its established urban infrastructure, services, population base and demand for real estate products.
Ahmed Kassem, chief executive of D Developments, said the company would focus on opportunities that match market demand and offer clear growth potential, adding that its strategy extends beyond launching individual projects to building a business capable of long-term expansion.
The company said it will announce further details of the four projects, including their components and implementation timelines, in phases over the coming period.
