Nigerian Developers Urged to Explore Cross-Border Real Estate Investment

Written on

Ghana-based real estate firm Devtraco Plus Nigeria Limited has called on Nigerian investors and developers to look beyond local borders, citing Ghana and Accra as compelling markets for cross-border property investment.

A Ghana-based real estate firm, Devtraco Plus Nigeria Limited, has urged Nigerian investors and developers to consider investment across the border, arguing that diversification and quality assets are increasingly drawing capital beyond national boundaries.

The appeal was made during a press conference in Lagos themed 'Building Wealth Beyond Borders'. Adedayo Macaulay, Country Manager of Devtraco Plus Nigeria Limited, said the event was designed to formally introduce the firm's Nigerian market initiative and connect investors with premium real estate opportunities in Ghana.

Macaulay noted that while real estate has long been a trusted store of value for Nigerians, the investment mindset is now extending internationally. He said investors are seeking opportunities that offer diversification, strong fundamentals, and long-term value creation.

He highlighted Ghana, and particularly Accra, as an attractive destination given its business growth, tourism, expatriate activity, and regional investment. He added that well-positioned, professionally developed residential and lifestyle properties are in demand there.

Macaulay emphasised that Devtraco Plus Nigeria's entry is not simply about selling property, but about creating access. He said the company wants Nigerian investors to have a trusted and structured pathway into Ghana's premium real estate market, backed by an established Ghanaian developer.
