GIPA Secures Investor Interest in Real Estate and Tourism at Atlanta Invest Fest

Written on

The Ghana Investment Promotion Authority says it secured investor leads and expressions of interest in real estate, tourism and other strategic sectors at Invest Fest 2026 in Atlanta, United States.

The Ghana Investment Promotion Authority (GIPA) has secured investor leads and expressions of interest in real estate, tourism and other strategic sectors at Invest Fest 2026 in Atlanta, United States, as part of efforts to attract diaspora and international capital into Ghana.

Manuela Adu, Head of Protocol at GIPA, led the Authority's delegation to the investment festival on behalf of its Chief Executive Officer, Simon Madjie. She said the festival provided Ghana with an opportunity to engage directly with prospective investors and showcase investment opportunities under the country's development agenda.

GIPA presented opportunities in agriculture and agro-processing, manufacturing, energy, technology and digital services, tourism and hospitality, real estate, mining, infrastructure and logistics. Adu said the government's 24-Hour Economy policy and the Volta Economic Corridor were also part of Ghana's investment proposition.

Real estate and tourism attracted particular interest from prospective investors, with discussions focusing on potential commercial partnerships. Adu also introduced investors to provisions under the Ghana Investment Promotion Authority Act, 2026 (Act 1173), including the citizenship-by-investment framework to be implemented by GIPA in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior.

The Authority said it would follow up on the leads by providing additional information, facilitating business connections and supporting further discussions with relevant institutions and private sector partners in Ghana.
