French real estate group Groupe Duval is investing about CFA11.8 billion (€18 million) in Sadi Mall, a commercial complex under construction in Bonamoussadi, northern Douala, according to a LinkedIn post by Patrice Eyango, identified as a program director at the company.
The development will cover more than 11,000 square metres and, according to Groupe Duval, will include a shopping gallery, retail units and a business centre, along with offices, leisure areas and a food court. The developer expects the project to create several hundred jobs.
Sadi Mall is expected to host French supermarket operator Super U and home-furnishings retailer La Foir'Fouille, with the latter operating at the site under the Snoop brand.
The project extends Groupe Duval's retail expansion in Cameroon, where it partnered with Cameroonian group Arno in June 2022 to create Duval Arno Distribution (DAD), a joint venture focused on food retail and home furnishings. At the venture's creation, the partners announced plans to open about 30 neighbourhood supermarkets and 15 furniture and home-decoration stores in Cameroon by 2030.
Groupe Duval says it develops retail, office, hotel and residential projects in Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Rwanda, Senegal and Togo. Business in Cameroon reported the investment on 8 September 2026.
