AXP Africa relaunches brand, unveils ecosystem model to tackle Nigeria's housing deficit

AXP Africa Limited marked its sixth anniversary with a brand relaunch cocktail event themed "A New Chapter, A Greater Impact," introducing a repositioned identity and an expanded operating model designed to close Nigeria's housing deficit at scale.
The event, held at the Civic Center on Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos, brought together developers, mortgage banks, investors and government stakeholders, and marked the company's formal transition from AXP Solutions Pro Limited to AXP Africa Limited.
Since its founding, AXP has facilitated real estate advisory and mortgage applications through partnerships with developers and financial institutions, and has profiled and facilitated mortgage opportunities for more than 300 prospects to date.
Hakeem Sadiku, Head of Enterprise Strategy, PMO and Transformation at AXP Africa Limited, said the company had provided real estate advisory and completed mortgage applications for clients through partnerships built on trust. "What changes is the scale we're building for. Nigeria's housing deficit demands nothing less than urgency at scale," he said.
AXP said its next phase centres on scaling its facilitation numbers well beyond current levels, accelerating National Housing Fund processing, and formalising a corporate homeownership track that brings employers, developers and mortgage banks into a single coordinated pathway.
While Nigeria remains the company's immediate focus, AXP said its long-term ambition includes adapting its model to other African markets facing similar housing finance and delivery constraints.
