Afro-Arab Properties breaks ground on 30-unit housing project in Accra

Afro-Arab Properties has cut the sod for a 30-unit, three-bedroom housing project at Community 22 Annex in Accra, with a payment plan that lets buyers move in after a 40 per cent down payment.
President of the Afro-Arab Group, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, has cut the sod for the construction of a new 30-unit, three-bedroom housing project at Community 22 Annex in Accra.
The housing project, being developed by Afro-Arab Properties, will be named in honour of renowned Ghanaian broadcaster and musician Blakk Rasta, in recognition of his contribution to Ghana's media and music industry.
The development is expected to provide prospective homeowners with an affordable and flexible pathway to acquiring three-bedroom homes, particularly at a time when the cost of housing remains a major challenge for many Ghanaians. Under the payment arrangement, prospective homeowners can begin their journey towards homeownership with an initial payment of GH₵10,000 and make gradual payments until they reach the required 40 per cent down payment.
Once a buyer has completed the 40 per cent down payment, they will be allowed to move into their three-bedroom home while paying the remaining balance over a period of five years without interest. The initiative is designed to ease the financial burden associated with acquiring a home by eliminating the need for buyers to raise the full purchase price before taking possession.
The project at Community 22 Annex forms part of Afro-Arab Properties' broader efforts to provide quality housing while introducing flexible payment arrangements that can make homeownership more attainable for Ghanaians. The completion of the 30-unit development is expected to provide new homeowners with modern three-bedroom accommodation in the Community 22 Annex area of Accra.
