Accra Real Estate School Adds Award-Winning Designer to Faculty Push

Written on

A leading Ghanaian design expert is stepping into the classroom as Accra School of Real Estate expands its industry training model. The move signals a growing shift toward blending design thinking with real estate education to boost property value and market readiness.

Accra School of Real Estate has appointed award-winning interior designer Belle Yemofio to its faculty as part of a new industry-focused training programme in Ghana. The institution says the move is aimed at strengthening the link between classroom learning and practical real estate practice.

Yemofio, founder and creative director of EllenDavis Interior Design, brings extensive experience in luxury interior and exterior design, along with a background in banking and entrepreneurship. Her work has been recognised across Africa and internationally for its impact on property presentation and value creation.

The school believes her inclusion will help students better understand how design influences investment returns, buyer appeal, and functionality in both residential and commercial spaces. It reflects a broader push to modernise real estate education in Ghana with real-world expertise.

The programme will also expose participants to practical skills such as space planning, client briefing, budgeting, and design implementation within real estate projects. Further industry collaborations are expected as the institution expands its professional training model.
