UAE developer Reportage Group eyes more Kenyan projects as three sites take shape

Written on

Dubai-based Reportage Group says Kenya remains a core market after inspecting its three Nairobi developments, which will together deliver 819 residential and hotel apartments.

Reportage Group, the Dubai-headquartered developer, is assessing additional sites in Kenya after a senior leadership visit to inspect its three ongoing projects in Nairobi, the company said.

Group managing director Andrea Nucera led the delegation, which reviewed progress at DG JKIA, DG West and Enzo Residence. The three developments comprise a combined 819 residential and hotel apartments, with DG JKIA and DG West under construction and Enzo Residence launched in August 2026.

DG JKIA, on Mombasa Road, will have 273 hotel apartments positioned near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and the standard gauge railway corridor. DG West, on Sports Road in Westlands, is planned for 200 hotel apartments, while Enzo Residence in Riverside will offer 346 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

"Kenya is an important market for Reportage Group, and our experience here reinforces our confidence in its long-term potential," Nucera said, adding that the developer is exploring further projects and intends to apply technology and sustainable building practices to its pipeline.

The Kenyan plans form part of an African expansion drive that has also covered South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Angola and Rwanda. In Angola the group launched Reportage Bay, comprising two residential communities within Dubai Investments Park Angola at an estimated combined investment of about US$500 million, or Ksh 64.9 billion.

The developer cited improving market indicators, including a 13.1 per cent rise in international arrivals through JKIA and Moi International Airport to 506,622 in the first quarter of 2026 and a 6.2 per cent increase in prime residential sale prices in the first half of 2026, according to Knight Frank's Kenya Market Update.
