Grova awards Hassan Allam Construction $1bn contract for West Cairo's Grova Westfields

Grova Developments has appointed Hassan Allam Construction to deliver Grova Westfields in West Cairo under a contract valued at $1 billion, spanning 1.2 million square metres in Sheikh Zayed.
Grova Developments, the real estate development arm of Hassan Allam Holding, has appointed Hassan Allam Construction to deliver Grova Westfields in West Cairo under a contract valued at $1 billion, TradeArabia reports.
Building on the success of Grova EastHills in East Cairo, which saw Phase One fully sold out, Grova Westfields marks the company's continued expansion across the Egyptian market. The development spans 1.2 million square metres in West Cairo and is being delivered through a strategic partnership with the Egyptian Kuwaiti Company for Real Estate Development. It is located in the heart of Sheikh Zayed, with access to Sphinx International Airport, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids Corridor.
Hassan Allam Construction's scope includes the delivery of a five-star hotel with 150 keys, branded residences, luxury villas and apartments, as well as infrastructure and landscaping works. Broadway Malyan is leading the masterplan and architectural design for Grova Westfields.

In 2026 Grova Developments expanded its portfolio with the launch of Grova EastHills and Grova Westfields in Cairo, while extending its regional presence with the launch of Noor Khuzam, an integrated residential community in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hassan Allam Holding operates in engineering, construction, infrastructure and real estate development, including infrastructure, energy, water, industry, logistics and petrochemicals across Egypt and the MENA region.
