BO Properties hands over Estellar Prime as Lagos Mainland portfolio tops 100 units

Lagos developer BO Properties says it has delivered more than 100 units across the Lagos Mainland, handing over the 26-unit Estellar Prime in Abule Ijesha, Akoka, to 18 investors in August 2026.
Lagos-based developer BO Properties says it has delivered more than 100 units across the Lagos Mainland, as the company continues to expand a portfolio spanning residential, student accommodation, shortlet and commercial property.
Its recently completed Estellar Prime development in Abule Ijesha, Akoka, is a three-storey building comprising 26 units owned by 18 investors, with a mix of one-bedroom and studio apartments serving long-term rentals, shortlets and student accommodation. In August 2026, BO Properties handed over the completed units to investors, marking the transition of the development from construction to possession.
Company founder Ifedayo Okungbowa said the focus has been on properties that respond to changing accommodation and investment needs. "We have delivered over 100 units across the Lagos Mainland, and our focus has always been to create properties that are not only well located but also provide value and flexibility for both occupants and investors," he said. On delivery, he added: "Real estate is built on trust, and we understand that investors are putting their money into projects with the expectation that what was presented to them will be delivered. For us, completing and handing over projects is therefore as important as the development itself."
Other completed schemes in the portfolio include Estellar, Primero and Project Rio. Project Rio on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way comprises nine fully furnished apartments across three buildings, made up of three studio, three one-bedroom and three two-bedroom apartments, designed primarily for shortlet accommodation with amenities including a swimming pool, Wi-Fi and smart-home facilities.
Ongoing developments include Becca's Deluxe in Shonibare Estate, Maryland, which is being built with smart-home technology, 24-hour power infrastructure, solar power systems and elevator access, as well as another Estellar development in Yaba planned with backup power, wellness facilities, dedicated parking and security infrastructure.
The company says its development strategy is centred on locations with access to schools, business districts, transport routes and commercial centres, with neighbourhoods such as Yaba, Akoka, Ikeja and Maryland attracting residents, students, professionals and businesses. The expansion comes amid rising demand for accommodation in Lagos driven by population growth, migration into the city, students, young professionals and business travellers, with investors increasingly seeking income-generating assets rather than properties that remain idle after acquisition.
