Space Shapers Developments has launched Rawaj Business Complex, a 184-unit mixed-use project on a 4,062 square metre plot on the Central Axis of 6th of October City, west Cairo.
Space Shapers Developments has launched Rawaj Business Complex in 6th of October City, west Cairo, a mixed-use project located on the Central Axis that will include commercial, administrative and medical units, as well as a rooftop area for food, entertainment and services.
Hesham Kamal, chief executive officer and board member of Space Shapers Developments, said Rawaj represents the company's first real estate development, building on the experience of its parent company, Al Agouz Group, which has operated in the market since 2005.
Rawaj is being developed on a land area of 4,062 square metres, with a total built-up area exceeding 10,294 square metres. The project comprises 184 units, including 72 commercial, 56 administrative and 56 medical units, with the ground and first floors allocated to commercial activity while medical and administrative sections are separated from the second floor through dedicated entrances and elevators.
The development includes a rooftop floor featuring a cafe and lounge with indoor and outdoor areas, plus a central space known as The Heart with landscaped areas and circulation spaces. Two underground parking levels will hold up to 151 cars.
Kamal said 6th of October City was selected because of the growth of commercial, service and medical activity in the area, with the site located near educational and healthcare facilities and major roads including the 26th of July Corridor and Dahshour Link. Space Shapers is working with Regus on operating one floor, Vodafone Business on technology and connectivity, Vezeeta as healthcare partner, Land Squared on commercial consultancy, Form Fusion as engineering and architectural consultant, and AXA Egypt on insurance solutions.
Commercial units range from around 18 square metres to more than 117 square metres, with outdoor terraces of up to 75 square metres, while administrative and medical units range from approximately 43 to 138 square metres. The company said construction will follow the project's approved timeline and payment plans will extend over several years.
