Nawy Shares and CI Capital partner to launch regulated real estate investment funds in Egypt

Written on

Nawy Shares and CI Capital Asset Management will establish and manage digital real estate investment funds offering fractional access to Egyptian property, with subscriptions for the first funds expected in early 2027.

Nawy Shares and CI Capital Asset Management have partnered to establish and manage digital real estate investment funds, with the first launches planned for early 2027.

The partnership will combine Nawy Shares' fractional real estate platform with CI Capital's asset management capabilities, giving investors access to property investments without buying an entire unit.

The planned funds will explore two main strategies: one focused on capital appreciation through development projects, and another targeting existing income-generating real estate assets. Separate issuances may also be linked to specific projects or investment opportunities.

The fractional model allows investors to participate with amounts starting from thousands of Egyptian pounds, reducing the entry cost compared with conventional property purchases that require large down payments or instalments.

The move comes as Egypt's Financial Regulatory Authority introduces rules allowing investment in real estate fund certificates through digital platforms.

Subscriptions for the first funds are expected to open in early 2027, subject to completing the establishment process and receiving regulatory approvals.
