Kuwait's Tatra Group launches T Developments to enter the Egyptian market

Kuwait-based Tatra Group has launched T Developments in Egypt, drawing on more than 20 years of activity in Kuwait where it has developed around 40 real estate projects and targeting a portfolio of up to 400,000 square metres in Egypt.
Tatra Group has launched T Developments in Egypt, saying the new brand will build on the group's more than 20 years of experience in the Kuwaiti market, where it has developed a portfolio of around 40 real estate projects across the residential, medical, administrative, investment and hospitality segments. The group said its Kuwaiti portfolio is valued at more than KWD 35m.
Sayed Othman, Chairperson of Tatra Developments, said the company's entry into the Egyptian market represents a new phase for the group, with plans to develop projects based on contemporary designs and construction standards. He said Tatra selected the New Administrative Capital as the starting point for its Egyptian operations, citing the city's development and investment activity.
Wael Othman, CEO of Tatra Developments, said the launch is intended to introduce the group to the Egyptian market under a new brand identity while building on its track record in Kuwait. According to the company, its team has also participated in the development of around 20 real estate projects in Egypt. The group also operates companies involved in construction, building maintenance, air conditioning and plumbing works as part of its broader real estate and construction activities.
Ahmed Badawy, Sales Director at T Developments, said the company plans to build a project portfolio covering up to 400,000 square metres in Egypt. Its expansion plans will focus on new urban communities, with the company assessing opportunities to develop residential and other real estate projects as it builds its presence in the Egyptian market.
