Infinity Developments has launched Phase One sales at Infinity Hills, a mixed-use community near Stone Town in Zanzibar developed with the Zanzibar Housing Corporation, recording multi-billion-shilling early transactions.
Infinity Developments has launched Phase One sales at Infinity Hills, an integrated mixed-use community it is developing in partnership with the Zanzibar Housing Corporation (ZHC) within the wider Stone Town area.
The developer said the project has attracted strong early interest from homebuyers and investors, with transactions worth multiple billions of Tanzanian shillings already recorded.
Infinity Hills' Head of Sales, Hamida Swalehe, said the response reflected “the strength of the location, the quality of the master plan and the long-term value buyers see in becoming part of a professionally planned community close to Stone Town.” She added that the Phase One launch allows buyers to enter the development at an early stage.
Phase One comprises studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments alongside 42 retail spaces, designed to maximise natural light and usable living space. Phase Two is expected to add more residential units and a dedicated commercial block with retail, food and beverage outlets and office space.
A central component of the master plan is an upcoming GEMS international school, which the developer says will anchor the community and add educational infrastructure to the wider Stone Town area. Planned amenities include landscaped gardens, a community swimming pool, cafés, retail facilities and children's play areas, with the site located close to the beach and adjacent to a landscaped park.
Project Manager Michael John Makoye said the team is focused on “disciplined execution” as the project moves from pre-mobilisation into construction, and the company intends to publish regular construction updates. Infinity Group chief financial officer Rohit Kapoor said the development would support employment, local businesses and government revenue, while chief executive Samuel Saba described Infinity Hills as a long-term commitment to Zanzibar.
