Growthpoint Healthcare Property Holdings (GHPH) has officially completed construction on the flagship R100 million Epione Health Village in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
Situated on Glenhove Road near Oxford Road, the two-story development introduces a pioneering "one-stop" medical real estate model designed to streamline patient care and improve healthcare affordability across economic classes in South Africa's financial hub.
Co-developed alongside healthcare provider Epione, the facility integrates primary healthcare with specialist services under a unified roof.
The ground level features a community-facing entrance with an on-site pharmacy, coffee shop, in-house diagnostic laboratory, skin cancer center of excellence, and 22 consulting rooms for GPs, dentists, optometrists, and clinical associates.
The upper level houses a 20-bed ambulatory surgery center equipped with two full-scale operating theaters and endoscopy screening rooms.
Following the Rosebank launch, Epione plans to expand the integrated health village concept to additional locations across South Africa and the broader continent.
